In order to ensure that a newly developed sealing system outperforms the solutions already in existence, the new product must often feature a combination of properties that were hitherto considered irreconcilable. The tools required for this purpose are designed, developed and produced in the company’s own tool construction facility.

Flexible Extrusion

A sealing profile with variably adjustable areas of functionality - pliable yet inherently stable when bent sharply, stiff yet shock-absorbent in high-stress situations. The extrusion technology VARIO SECTION® enables changes in the profile cross-section to be made during the ongoing extrusion process. In this way, wall thickness, profile breadth and height as well as internal shape and the profile base can all be extruded in a variable manner.

VARIO SECTION® has been in serial production since 2006.
